Ok I'm sure you've all had an awkward moment where you felt like you just wanted to melt or you wanted out of that situation ASAP. Lately I have been feeling like the queen of awkward. Allow me to enumerate just a few instances.
Awkward#1.
That moment where you are in the car with your family and suddenly a song with some sexual content suddenly goes on and no one bothers to change the station. Errrr....arrrrghhhh....
Khia's song, "My Neck, My Back" suddenly came on while I was in the car on a road trip with my cousins and their parents.
If you're not familiar with the song, play this video. Can you say awkward much?! What is a girl to do in such a situation? The song before that had me nodding my head and singing a long then suddenly this song came on. I did the only thing I could think of doing...I put my sunglasses on and pretended to sleep.
Awkward#2.
That moment where you are talking to a friend and he/she suddenly picks his/her nose in front of you. Yes, in front of you. And this person plays with the little treasure and rolls it between their finger forming a ball of booger! Ewwwwrrrrr! To look away or not. Ugh...
Someone please get me out of these awkward situations!

Awkward #1- hahahahaha Sooo funny
At least the awkward moments leave good stories behind. While watching a movie at my older brother's house, with my parents in the room, the star started making sexual references that I prayed my parents would not understand. When they started laughing I had to pretend they weren;t really there.
All I can say is don't watch a movie with your boyfriend's parents, and if someone picks their nose point it out. "Ew dude, that's gross! If you're gonna do that get away from me!"
Wow. All of those experiences really are extremely awkward!
#1: Once had a song called "The ABCs of Kinky Sex" come on in front of my husband's high school students. Could not leap for the iPod fast enough.
#2: Eh, after watching Across the Universe with the in-laws nothing is weird anymore.
#3: Wait, that really happens? More than once? Holy balls, awkwardness!
The first and the last has happened to me a lot many times to even remember :) :)

I've never heard that song, but just reading the few words on the video is enough to know I'd be uncomfortable and probably would have pretended to sleep, myself. haha

I feel you on the awkward movie scenes. It is even worse when someone walks into the room at the very moment the bad scene is happening...because well then they think you are a perv.

I watched 8 Mile with my mom (ugh, I don't know what I was thinking) and the part where Eminem and Britney Murphy have sex in the warehouse/at his work was just SOOOO awkward.

Awkward#1 and 2 : totally sympathise as have experienced both! Oh the agony. I just keep quiet and hope the lyrics or making out scene ends really soon.
