Hello my lovies! Happy Thanksgiving to you, your families, and loved ones too. This is one of those holidays that I believe should be practiced every single waking day. A few months back I started reading this book:
No this is not a magic book, nor does it contain magical spells. The book is actually very inspiring. It has taught me the magic of gratitude. I'm telling you, my life has changed in so many ways since I started reading this book, or maybe the way I look at things has changed. This book contains daily activities, activities that brings about a whole new perspective on life and magic. I have seen things from a different point of view.
There is so much that I have, so much that I have been blessed with and for so long I just lived with what I have not realizing that it is more than what I needed. So many things that I have taken for granted, take for instance the gift of sight. I cannot imagine not being able to see and for my eyesight I am very, very grateful. To be able to see my loved ones, to see someone I love smiling back at me...I have taken this for granted, but if my eyesight were to be taken away from me one day, I don't know what I would do.
I am thankful for my legs, my feet, my toes. It is through them that I am able to enjoy walking, running, jogging and going places.
|my happy feet! =)|
I am thankful for my arms, hands, fingers. It is through these that I am able to give my loved ones a hug, hold someone's hand, touch someone's face and it is through my hands that I am able to do work, and to help others.
I am thankful for my brain and my heart and all my organs for continuing to function. I mean, imagine, even when we are sleeping they still keep working to keep us alive? How amazing is that?!
I am grateful for all the tears that I have shed and all the trials and failures. If not for these events, I would never have learned the lessons that I needed to learn, joy and happiness would not be as sweet, and I would not be the person I am today.
I am thankful for my mom, my brother, my lovie, my family and friends. It is these people who have loved me unconditionally and these people who never fail to put a smile on my face.
I am thankful for you my bloggy fam, for sticking with me, through my rants, adventures and for your comments.
And lastly I am thankful, for this moment. I am thankful to be alive. I am thankful to have another day to spend with those I love so dearly. Life is good. Yes, there are days when it seems like it is the end of the world but cheesy as it may sound there is always a rainbow after every storm. It helps to start the day by counting your blessings. I have a gratitude journal where I jot down 10 things I am grateful for. I do this every morning while I'm having breakfast and needless to say, the rest of the day there seems to be more things that keep popping up to add to that list.
So with that, I leave you with a few photos from this year's Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! And thank you, thank you, thank you for following my blog, for your comments, and also thank you for blogging and keeping me entertained.
